Jeffrey A. Sanders, age 65 of Lansing, IL, passed away suddenly at home on Tuesday, July 2, 2024. He is survived by his father: John Sanders; four children: Doug (Samantha) Sanders, Jennifer (Tom) Murtaugh, Rachel (Dave) Sanders and Austin Sanders; grandchildren: Riley, Stephanie, Cody, Jamie, Tristan, River, Malakai, Jett, Peyton, Maeleigh, John, and Ethan; and step grandchildren Duncan and Leah Murtaugh. Also surviving is his sister: Laura (Gregg) Stephens, and niece Natalie (fiance Michael Horn) Stephens and nephew Jared Stephens. Jeffrey was preceded in death by his mother: Beverly (nee Bray) Sanders.

Friends are invited to visit with Jeff's family on Monday, July 8 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 noon at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Rd., Lansing, IL. His funeral service will begin at 12:00 noon in the funeral home chapel. Jeff will be laid to rest near his mother in Skyline Memorial Park in Monee, IL.

Jeff worked for 34 years for Advances Parts and Service. He was an avid bowler winning several rings for perfect games; he was an avid Blackhawks hockey fan, enjoyed golf, NASCAR, especially Dale Earnhardt, Bears football, and Cubs baseball. But more than anything, he enjoyed his time poolside with his family.
