Jeanette Bottos, (nee Komorowski), age 102 of Chicago Heights, Illinois passed away peacefully Monday, July 11, 2022. She was born May 9, 1920. Jeanette was the Loving wife of the late William Bottos. Beloved mother of JoAnn (Gary) Dugovich, Mary (Henry) Kudlo and the late Michael Bottos. Adoring grandmother of Michael (Joyce) Bottos, Jr., Cassandra (Neil) Smith, Christina Bottos, Carleena (Leroy) Bertram, Catonya (Charlie) Patton, Brian Dugovich, Matthew (Jessica) Dugovich and Lindsay (Jon) Karsos. Cherished great-grandmother of 22 and great great- grandmother of 16. Treasured aunt of many nieces and nephews and dear friend of many. Born the 7th of 7 children to the late Caroline (Zabik) and George Komorowski in Lansing, Illinois.

Friends may visit with Jeanette's family on Monday, July 18, 2022 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Road, Lansing, Illinois. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at the funeral home with closing prayers beginning at 9:30 AM, then proceeding to St. Ann Catholic Church, 3010 Ridge Road, Lansing, Illinois for a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial. Jeanette will be laid to rest at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville, Indiana.

Many enjoyed her old fashioned hospitality and being in her joyful company, making anyone who crossed her path feel special, amazing and loved. She was a prayerful, faithful and spiritual woman, she lived her faith daily. Jeanette has taught many valuable life lessons, such as "Be the best you can be" and "Always be kind." She enjoyed baking, cooking, puzzles, and playing cards. She will be missed by many and her love will continue to live on in those who loved her.
