Janice Barbara Predl (nee Schiller), age 71 of Lansing, Illinois, passed away on
Thursday, September 18, 2025. Janice was born on February 2, 1954 in the historical
Pullman area of Chicago, Illinois to Herman and Alvina Schiller. Both parents have
predeceased her. She had one brother, Herman Gerald Schiller, who predeceased her.

Janice was married to David John Predl on July 2, 1992, who predeceased her. She is
survived by several cousins and brother-in law Richard (Susan) Predl, sister-in-law
Jennifer (Richard) Walstra and Suzanne (George) Cook, along with numerous nieces,
nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

In 1971, Janice graduated from Christian Fenger High School in Chicago, IL. She
worked at Ball Glass Company in Dolton, IL for many years. She retired from
Comprehensive Cancer Institute, in Olympia Fields, IL in 2020.

She enjoyed gardening, fishing with friends and loved her numerous dogs over the
years.

from 1:00 – 4:00 PM (eulogy at 3:00) at Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge
Road, Lansing, IL, 60438. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to
