Janet M. Matthys, age 65 of Lansing, IL, passed away on Sunday, October 12. She is survived by her sister: Linda (Cliff) Seward, twin sister: Judy Matthys, brother: Mike (Laurie) Matthys, and numerous nieces and nephews. Janet was predeceased by her infant son, Evan; Parents: John and Rhoda (nee Dykman) Matthys; and brother: Mark.

Janet worked as a finance director and was a member of the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA). She was a Chicago Bears, Black Hawks, and White Sox fan.
