James Alan Schauer age 65 of Lansing, Illinois passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 7, 2021. James is survived by his loving mother Jane (nee Beifuss) Schauer and sister-in-law Dorrie Schauer and many other family members and friends. James was preceded in death by his father Ralph Schauer and brother Jeff Schauer.

Friends may visit with James family on Monday, December 20, 2021 at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Road, Lansing, Illinois from 11:00 AM to 12 Noon, with a service immediately following with Deacon Jim Renwick officiating. James will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, Calumet City, Illinois. James was loved by many and he will be truly missed.
