Jake Harvey, age 28 of Lansing, Illinois, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2020. Jake is survived by his loving parents Joseph and Pamela (nee Carter) Harvey, two sisters Tara and Ryan and one brother Joey. Also surviving is paternal grandmother Sadie Carter and maternal grandmother E. Carol Harvey, two nieces Rylee and Kaelyn and two nephews Danny and Jace and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Jake was preceded in death by his grandparents Robert Carter and Walter Harvey.

Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, March 21, 2020, at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Road, Lansing, Illinois from 1:00 to 6:00 PM. A celebration of Life for Jake will begin at 5:00 PM with Deacon Jim Renwick officiating. Interment private.

Jake was an avid wrestling fan and Gears of War fanatic. He loved hanging out with friends. He enjoyed walks and making memories with his friends. He was a loving son and uncle. Jake was always making people laugh and he was the bright light at every family gathering. He was loved by many and he will be truly missed. To quote Jake "Give Me A Too Sweet". May you rest forever in peace.
