Jackie Addington, age 79, of Lansing, IL passed away on November 28, 2024. She was born on February 8, 1945 in Rockville Centre, NY to the late Marion Margaret Bryan and John Hubert Galloway.

Jackie will be lovingly remembered by her children Deborah (Glen) Blackburn, David (Kim) Graske, Shari Slyder, and Robbie Conner. She will also be deeply missed by her granddaughters Heather, Corinne (Ryan), Lily, Kaylee, and Karlie. Jackie has been reunited with her parents, her brother (Mike), and beloved husband (Jim) along with many cherished pets that brought joy to her life.

A woman of great spirit, Jackie found immense joy in the company of her family. She relished the time spent camping and fishing, creating many memories along the way. A devoted fan of the Chicago Cubs, she was thrilled to witness the team's championship victory. In quieter moments, Jackie enjoyed crocheting blankets for her family and grandchildren, each stitch a symbol of her love. Known for her infectious humor and strong convictions, she was always the first to crack a joke. Her vibrant wit will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.

Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Road, Lansing, Illinois from 3:00 to 7:00 PM with services immediately following in the funeral home chapel. Jackie will be laid to rest on Thursday, December 5, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, Calumet City, Illinois.
