Jacqueline (Jacquie) Helen Mlynarcik, age 79 of Lansing, IL, passed away suddenly on Saturday, October 19, at her home.  She is survived by her two children: Amanda Burkhart and Joshua (Janine) Mlynarcik; five grandchildren: Katherine, Steven Southard, Esmeralda Burkhart, and Millie, Coco Mlynarcik; two sisters, Jean (Jesse) McBride and Jane Kaminski two brothers-in-law: Gerald (Lana) and Larry (Paula) Mlynarcik;  Jacqueline was preceded in death by her husband:  Dennis Mlynarcik, son: Jeremy Mlynarcik, brother-in-law:  Bob Kaminski, and parents: Edward and Dorothy Koscielniak

A 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday October 28th, 2024 Directly at St. Ann Catholic Church, 3010 Ridge Rd., Lansing, IL Friends are invited to visit with Jacquie's family on Sunday, October 27th from 3:00 – 7:00 PM at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Rd., Lansing, IL. There will also be a short visitation on Monday morning from 9:00 – 10:00 AM at St. Ann Church. Jacqueline will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, Calumet City, Illinois. Memorial donations may be made in Jacquie's name to LARC of Lansing (https://www.larclansing.com)or the Charity of your choice.

Jacquie graduated from T.F. North High School and the Rush University College of Nursing. She loved her job as a pediatric nurse at the Hammond Clinic for over 40 years.  She remained close to many of her co-workers after she retired and was always helping family and friends with her medical advice.  In retirement, she enjoyed cooking, overnight trips to the casino, shopping for the grandkids, watching her "shows" on television, and spending time at her lake home in Monticello.  Above all, she enjoyed being together with her family.  She deeply loved her family and friends and took every opportunity to spend time with them. She was a loving wife, sister, mother, and grandmother and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. www.schroederlauerfh@gmail.com
