Jacob Boer, age 91 of Lansing, Illinois went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, January 9, 2022. Jacob is survived by his beloved wife Betty (nee Triezenberg) Boer. Loving father of Patricia (Mike) Fischer, Wayne (Regina) Boer, and Glen Boer. Cherished grandfather of Joshua Boer and Julie (Drew) Gutierrez and great grandfather of Ava and Logan Gutierrez and Jacob Wayne Boer. Jacob is also survived by two brothers: Pete Boer and Art (Eleanor) Boer, one sister: Ann (Tom) Staggs and brother-in-law Gary Bos and many loving nieces and nephews. Jacob was preceded in death by his parents Peter and Anna (nee Veenema) Boer.

A committal service for Jacob will take place at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, 20953 W. Hoff Road, Elwood, Illinois on Friday, January 14, 2022 at 11:00 AM., with Pastor Daniel Miller officiating. Friends who plan on attending the burial should arrive at the informational office no later than 10:45 AM. Jacob was loved by many and he will be truly missed.
