Henry B. Buffano, age 83 of Lansing, IL, passed away on Wednesday, August 27, 2025. He is survived by his beloved wife of 27 years: Connie (nee Zarowny) Buffano; daughter: Kimberly (Seymoure) Pritikin; son: Steven (Kristin) Buffano; and grandchildren: Mitchell Buffano, Samantha Buffano, and Aaron Pritikin. Also surviving is his sister-in-law: Karen Zarowny.

Friends are invited to visit with Henry's family on Saturday, August 30 from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Rd., Lansing, IL. Henry will be laid to rest in Holy Cross Cemetery in Calumet City, IL In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations in Henry's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at stjude.org.

Henry was a former Lansing Police Officer and Paramedic and a proud veteran of the U.S. Army. He enjoyed boating on Lake Cumberland and going to the casino. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.
