Henrietta Barnes (nee Veenstra), age 104 of Lansing, IL, went home to her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, September 7, 2022. She is survived by her son: Bob Barnes; grandchildren: Brenda, Melanie, Mark Jr., Charles, Brian, Sheri, Earl, and David; numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; and daughter-in-law: Carol Barnes. Mrs. Barnes was preceded in death by her beloved husband: Marcus Edward Barnes; son: Mark Barnes; and daughter-in-law: Alice Barnes.

Friends are invited to visit with Mrs. Barnes' family on Saturday, September 10 from 4:00 – 6:00 PM at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Rd., Lansing, IL. Her Celebration of Life service will be at 5:30 PM with Rev. Michael Eberly from the Cornerstone Church officiating. Mrs. Barnes will be laid to rest in Skyline Memorial Park in Monee, IL.
