Helen A. Osmolski (nee Gavin), age 95 of Lansing, IL, passed away at her home, surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday, August 21, 2019. She is survived by her devoted husband of 74 years: Felix; five children: Robert (late Jennifer) Osmolski, Mary (Dave Alwood) Biscan, Irene Osmolski, Ann (Mike) Bachman, and Therese (Scott) Hendrix; 15 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.

Friends are invited to visit with Helen's family on Monday, August 26 from 3:00 – 7:00 PM at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Rd., Lansing, IL. The Rosary will be prayed at 5:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday, August 27 at 10:00 AM at the Carmelite Monastery, 1628 Ridge Rd., Munster, IN. Helen will be laid to rest in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Carmelite Monastery.
