Helen Brazel, 66, of Munster, IN, passed away on November 11th. She was born on September 11th, 1958, in Chicago, IL, to Donald George Bailey and Anne Mae Collins.

Helen will be lovingly remembered by her children, Kyle Brazel (Tina), Kristen Burtch (Alex), her ex-husband, Richard Brazel, granddaughters Abby and Lizzy, and her sister Diane, as well as the Brazel siblings: David (Katie), Jim (Laura), and Diane (Pat), along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is reunited in rest with her mother, father, brothers, and sister, along with many other loved ones throughout her life. Helen's reach was as vast as it was deep, and she was cherished by many.

Helen was known for living life with no regrets. She traveled to many destinations, including Alaska, Switzerland, Ireland, Nashville, and anywhere a cruise boat would go. She rocked out at concerts, seeing everyone from Elton John to Toby Keith. Helen never said no to a long chat on the phone and touched the lives of everyone who knew her with Hallmark cards for every occasion and thoughtful messages. Helen made a lasting impression and will be greatly missed. Services for Helen will be conducted at a later date.

The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Munster Humane Animal Shelter. Now that Helen is reunited with her beloved Bella, let's keep her legacy alive by sharing the love with more pets.
