Harold (Harry) Lee Stamper of Crown Point, Indiana peacefully went home to be with Jesus on Sunday, December 30, 2023. For 30 years Harold was an Iron worker for Local 395. Harry is a gradute of Indiana University with a degree in Accounting. He was a proud follower of Jesus Christ and a student of the Bible.

Harry was born in Hammond, Indiana, and raised in Highland with his three brothers. He loved spending time with his family, golfing, reading, and educating people on our nation's founding fathers. He proudly supported veterans and was an advocate for patriotism. Harry was always joking or making a funny face to make you laugh. He loved to play with his two dogs Cha-Chi and Chloe. He actively supported several ministries nationwide to further the gospel's message.

Harry is the Son of Bill Stamper and Anne Kacer. He is the father to Jesse Stamper, Melissa Frye, and Joshua Stamper. He is the grandfather of seven grandchildren and is survived by the mother of his children Marsha Stamper, partner Theodora Batistatos and her daughters Angela and Anthi Batistatos.

Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, from 3:00 to 8:00 PM at Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Road, Lansing, Illinois. Funeral services for Harry will be held Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel. Harry will be laid to rest at Concordia Cemetery, Hammond, Indiana.
