Gustave Richard Gauger, age 89 of Lansing, Illinois, formerly of Oshkosh, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 25, 2019. He is survived by his loving children; Mark Gauger, Rick (Jackie) Gauger and Kim (Carl) Pietrocha. Loving brother of three and one sister, cherished uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Gustave will be held on Monday, July 1, 2019, at 12:00 PM At St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church, 8601 Harrison Ave., Munster, Indiana with Rev. Donald Stock officiating. Interment private. Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 AM until time of service.

Gustave was a proud veteran of The United States Navy, he was a loving and devoted husband, father and friend he was employed at AT&T Telephone Company for many years. He was loved by many and he will be deeply missed. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Association Illinois Chapter.
