Francis "Frank" R. Stepina, Jr., age 74 of Lansing, Illinois, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 26, 2020. Francis is survived by his beloved wife Carol (nee Ross). Francis is also survived by his brothers-in-law: Kevin (Patti) Rose, Jim (Vicki Miguca) Ross. Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews, Cousin Caroline Flanigan and mother-in-law Betty Ross. Francis was preceded in death by his loving parents Francis Sr. and Mildred (nee Palicka) Stepina.

Francis worked and enjoyed being a photographer for many years.  His life's work took him around the country and to Moscow for international trade shows. He had a special talent and eye when it came to photography. He also enjoyed cooking. He was also very proud of his vegetable garden.  He truly enjoyed planting and harvesting his garden on a yearly basis. He was loved by many and he will be truly missed. Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home has been entrusted with Francis's care. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Frank's name to the National Kidney Foundation.
