Eugene Allen, 75 of Valparaiso, Indiana, late of Lansing, Illinois passed away peacefully early Sunday morning, September 24, 2023. Gene was the husband of Roxanne Allen. Father of Nathan (Jennifer) Allen, Christopher (Julie Pryzbala) Allen, and David Allen. Step father of Katrina (Cory) Huie, Thomas (Kristine) Mottl Jr., Larissa Brusherd, Juliana (Ed Watkins Jr.) Mottl, and Robert (Emily) Mottl. Grandfather of Christian and Damien Wilson, Alexander Allen, Cody and Heather Allen, and Wyatt and Emma Mottl. Brother of Cassandra (Donald) Brown. He was preceded in death by his parents Cecil Allen and Marie Lee.

Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 DIRECTLY at Trinity Lutheran Church, 2505 Indiana Ave, Lansing, Illinois from 10:00 to 11:00 AM with services immediately following at 11:00 AM, with Pastor Marty Marks officiating.

Eugene was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather and friend. Eugene was an Electrician and over the years have helped many people. You could always count on Eugene to do a professional job and he took great pride in his work. Eugene was loved by many and he will be truly missed.
