Esther J. Lyczak (nee Kozlowski), age 86 of Calumet City, IL, passed away on Monday, July 12, 2021. She is survived by her five children: Allen (Tina) Lyczak, Joyce (Roger) Wieringa, Vicky (Joe) Keslin, Jamie (Jessica) Lyczak, and Jeff (Julie) Lyczak. Also surviving are her grandchildren: Justine, Sean (Heather), Melissa, Amanda (Justin), Renee, Zachary, Tyler, Adam, Seth, Grace, Josh, and Molly; one great granddaughter: Vienne Ooms; and brother: Eugene Kozlowski.

Esther was preceded in death by her beloved husband of over 50 years: John Lyzcak; parents: Stanley and Stella Kozlowski; and seven siblings: Eddie, Joey, Teddy, Leon, Rosie, Barbara, and Casey.

Friends are invited to visit with Esther's family on Wednesday, July 14 from 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Rd., Lansing, IL. Closing prayers will be at 10:15 AM and the we will proceed to Our Lady of Knock Church, 501 163 ^rd St, Calumet City, IL, for an 11:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial. Esther will be laid to rest in Holy Cross Cemetery in Calumet City, IL. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations in Esther's name to the Charity of your choice.

Esther was a longtime member of Our Lady of Knock Church. She loved to crochet and enjoyed her many friends at Our Lady of Knock. She was very involved with the Thornton Township and the Historical Society of Calumet City. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend and she will be missed.
