Elva E. Gutierrez, age 89 of South Holland, Illinois passed away peacefully with family by her side on Saturday, December 30, 2023. Elva is survived by her son August Gutierrez and daughter Sonia Gutierrez. Cherished grandmother of Aaron (Alison) Gutierrez, Crystal Gutierrez and great granddaughter Jazmyn. Elva was preceded in death by her loving husband Vincent Gutierrez, loving son Bernard and daughter Lilia. Elva was born in Monterrey, Mexico. After becoming a citizen of the United States she worked for 35 years at Carl Buddig as a line packer in the factory. Elva was a beautiful person and always showed her love to everyone she met. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was a strong faithful and devoted woman. She was loved by many and she will be dearly missed.

A private burial for Elva will be held at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery, Alsip, Illinois on January 8, 2024. Schroeder-Lauer has been entrusted with the arrangements and care of Elva. www.schroederlauer.com
