Elizabeth "Betty" M Dienes (nee Petersen), age 90 of Calumet City, IL, formerly of Chicago, passed away on Monday, May 20, 2019. She is survived by her beloved husband of 65 years: Joseph Dienes; son: Joseph (Robin) Dienes; daughter Joyce Dienes; brother: Robert (Terry) Petersen; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Dienes was preceded in death by her parents and many brothers and sisters.

Friends are invited to visit with Betty's family on Friday, May 24 from 9:00 – 11:00 AM at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Rd., Lansing, IL. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the American Cancer Society.
