Elisabeth Salinas (nee Kreiser), age 89 of Lansing, IL, passed away on Sunday, August 13, 2023. She is survived by her three children: Arturo (Bonni) Salinas Jr., David (Maureen) Salinas, and Barbara Salinas; two step-daughters: Wendy and Michelle; one step-son: Tom; and four grandchildren: Arthur Salinas, Michael Salinas, Robert Salinas, and Erica Salinas. Elisabeth was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Arturo Salinas Sr, in 2022.

Elisabeth was born in southern Germany in 1934 and immigrated to the United States in 1954. She worked for many years as a bookkeeper for Marshall Fields in Chicago and also in River Oaks Shopping Center. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother and will be missed.

Private funeral services at Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home in Lansing and entombment in Holy Cross Cemetery in Calumet City, IL were held on August 17.
