Edwin J. Kantowicz age 80 of Lansing, Illinois passed away Saturday, April 2, 2022. Edwin is survived by his beloved wife Donna (nee Kennelly) Kantowicz. Loving father of Kelly (Jim) Stewart, Edward Kantowicz, and Anthony Kantowicz. Cherished grandfather of Spencer Stewart. Also surviving are two sisters; Marylu (late Walt), Barbara (late Jack) and nephews Philip (Kristy) Irwin, Jack Irwin and James Irwin.

Ed had a MBA in business, He carried the title of Manager at the 100" Plate Mill at Inland Steel. He was dedicated and he belonged to the 25 year Club. He retired from Inland Steel in 1998. He enjoyed playing golf and belonged to a league at Inland Steel. Ed volunteered his time as CCD teacher where he taught at St. Ann's School. He enjoyed being a Cub Scout Leader for his two sons and enjoyed spending time with them. He was an avid White Sox fan and tried to make all of their Opening Day games with his son Anthony. He truly enjoyed gardening and took great pride in the flowers and yard work.
