Edward John Oskierko "Bud", age 83 of Lansing, IL, passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2026. He is survived by his beloved wife Barbara Jean (nee Luck) Oskierko; son, Richard J. Oskierko, daughter-in-law, Laurie Oskierko; grandchildren: Jeffery, Amanda, and Emily Oskierko; great grandson, Gunnar Verhault; sister-in-law, Cathi (Ron) Trafton; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Bud was preceded in death by his parents: Edward M. and Dorothy L. Oskierko; and son, John E. Oskierko.

Friends are invited to visit with Bud's family on Monday, February 23 from 2:00 – 7:00 PM at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Rd., Lansing, IL. Bud's funeral service will take place on Tuesday, February 24 at 10:00 AM in the funeral home chapel, with Pastor Kyle Johnson officiating. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donation's in Bud's name to Our Saviour Lutheran Church, 19058 Burnham Ave., Lansing, IL.

Bud retired after 37 years from Ford Motor Company. He was a Chicago White Sox fan, enjoyed auto racing and golf. The most important thing in his life was his family whom he adored.

Bud's family would like to thank the caregivers at Great Lakes Nursing Home in Dyer, Indiana and Franciscan Hospice for the care and compassion shown to him and his entire family. You made a difficult time easier.
