Earl L. Burris, age 86 of Crete, IL, went home to his Lord and Savior on Monday, August 29, 2022. He is survived by his sister: Ethel Braschler; sister-in-law: Julie (Burris) Houston; and numerous nieces and nephews. Earl was preceded in death by his brother: Paul Burris and brother-in-law: Jack Braschler

Visitation and funeral services for Earl will be held on Friday, September 2, 2022 beginning with a visitation from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church, 2505 Indiana Ave., Lansing, IL. The service will begin at 11:00 AM in the church sanctuary. Earl will be laid to rest in Oak Glen Cemetery in Lansing. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Earl's name may be given to Trinity Lutheran Church.

Earl enjoyed cars, tractors, farming, was an avid sports fan, and enjoyed watching racing. He even helped as part of the pit crew for a friend. He was retired from Meade Industrial Services where he wound magnets. Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home in Lansing, IL has been entrusted with Earl's arrangements.
