Dorothy Jarmusz, age 93, of Calumet City, Illinois formerly of South Chicago passed away peacefully on October 16, 2026 at her residence.  She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Marth (nee Osocha) Jarmusz; her siblings, Harry (Ros Mare) and Raymond (Carol) Jarmusz.

She is the loving aunt to Jim (Denise), Donna (Gary), Debbie (Gene), Steven and David.  Great aunt to many.

Dorothy was origninal from South Chicago where she had many fond and beautiful memories.  Shs enjoyed arts and crafts, gardening, and she had a special place in her heart for animals. She was loved by and will be truly missed.  

Visitation will be Wednesday, October 21, 2026 from 11:00 until the time of her service at 1:00 pm at Shcroeder-Lauer Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest next to her beloved sister Lori at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery.
