Dorothea M. Carlson (nee Vander AA), age 95 of Merrillville, IN, formerly of Lansing, IL, went home to her Lord and Savior on Thursday, July 17, 2025.

Friends are invited to visit with Dorothea's family on Wednesday, July 23 from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Rd., Lansing, IL. Her funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel. She will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband, Walter, in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Lansing. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations in Dorothea's name to the Bible League International, 3801 Eagle Nest Dr., Crete, IL 60417.
