Donna Marie (nee Millen) Turnbull, age 70, of Lansing, Illinois passed away Friday, September 27, 2024. She was born in Hammond, Indiana to Richard and Alice Millen July 15, 1954. Following her graduation from Thornton Fractional South High School, she worked for a printing company Litho Type and The Southtown Economist. After Southtown closed their doors, she became a professional custodian. In 1995, she married her second husband Melvin Turnbull and has been married for 29 loving years. Throughout these years, they enjoyed taking care of their cats together. She is survived by her brother James Millen and sister Denise Ross, and is also survived by her sister in-laws, and her loving nieces and nephews. She enjoyed gardening and baking. She was known for her delicious cheesecakes and holiday fudge. She will always be remembered as a loyal fan to the Chicago Bears and the Chicago Black Hawks.

Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, October 10, 2024 at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Road, Lansing, Illinois from 9:00 to 11:00 AM with services immediately following at 11:00 AM, with Pastor John Richy officiating. Donna will be laid to rest at Skyline Memorial Park Cemetery, Monee, Illinois. Donna was loved by many and she will be truly missed.
