Donna Marie (nee Hopkins) Moss, age 80 of Sauk Village, IL, formerly of Burnham, IL, passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2022. She is survived by her four children: Kenneth (Sandy) Moss, Kurt (Donna) Moss, Kathryn (Jim) Ward, and Karen Moss; eight grandchildren: Ashley, Anthony, Shealene, Londen, Ali, Tessa, Benjamin, and Abraham; and five great grandchildren: Alexis, Alaina, Audree, Trenton, and Avery. Donna was preceded in death by her parents: Robert and Mary Moss; and her sister: Eileen.

Friends are invited to visit with Donna's family on Tuesday, July 26 from 9:30 – 10:30 AM at St. James Catholic Church, 22244 Torrence Ave., Sauk Village, IL. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 AM in the church sanctuary. Donna will be laid to rest in St. James Cemetery in Sauk Village.

Donna was a life-long advocate for children. She was a foster parent and an adoptive parent of four children. She worked for the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services for over 23 years. She traveled the world. Donna was an avid pinochle, bunco, 10,000 dice game and dominos player. She was also a great cook and enjoyed hosting dinner parties for her family and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Donna's name to Catholic Charities, 721 N. La Salle St., Chicago, IL 60654.
