Dolores E. Engelhardt (nee Rehse), age 93 of Lansing, Illinois formerly of Detroit, Michigan passed away peacefully April 11, 2022. She is survived by her loving children Judith E. Linke, Robert M. Linke, Louise D. Linke-Jackson and Edward J. Linke. Cherished grandmother of Mercedes M. Cangas, Elizabeth M. Linke, Elizabeth N. Linke and Chad O. Linke and great grandmother of Dakota Pulaski, Trevor Linke, Maxwell Wilson, Nikolai Mack, and Sofia Bianchi. Loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. Dolores was preceded in death by her loving parents Edward and Elizabeth Rehse, Dorthea L. Seybolt, Edward Rehse, first husband Robert J. Linke and second husband Elmer W. Engelhardt.

Dolores worked at Marshall Fields, Macy's and a long time faithful member of V.F.W and the Ladies Auxiliary. Dolores was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother sister and friend. She enjoyed life to the fullest and she was always a joy to be around. Her smile was contagious and she always made you feel welcomed. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Dolores name to the V.F.W. or the VA would be appreciated. Schroeder-lauer Funeral has been entrusted with Dolores' care.
