Diane M. Roberts (nee Bartowski), age 75 of Mokena, IL, passed away peacefully on August 9, 2026. She was a beloved daughter of Edward and Susan (nee Kusek) Bartowski, and cherished mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend whose gentle presence left a lasting mark on all who knew her.

One of the defining blessings of her life was her marriage to Mark, with whom she shared 42 years before his passing I 2016. Their life together was a partnership marked by deep commitment, and that love remained for the rest of her days.

She was the loving mother of Timothy (Megan) and Christopher (Sara), the proud grandmother of Claire, Libby, Emmett, and Ava; the devoted sister of Ken (Gloria) Bartowski and Pam (Dan) Pullen, and caring aunt to Matthew, Laura, and Amy. The family she built and nurtured was a source of joy to her, and her legacy of love will continue through them for generations to come.

She will be remembered for her love of gardening, baking, writing, and cross-stitch; and more importantly her kindness, warmth, and the welcoming spirit she brought into her home.

Visitation is on Sunday, August 16, 2026 from 12:00 noon to 4:00 PM at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Rd., Lansing, IL. Her funeral service will be held on Monday August 17 beginning with closing prayers at 9:30 AM and proceeding to All Souls Catholic Church, 3010 Ridge Rd., Lansing, IL for a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be private.
