David Wielosinski, age 70, of Lansing, Illinois passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2020. David is survived by his beloved wife Kathleen (nee Aloia) of 34 years, and his loving daughters Jessica Wielosinski and Marie (Brian) English. Cherished grandfather of Emma English. Fond brother of Robert Wielosinski, Gary Wielosinski, and Brian Wielosinski, also surviving are sisters-in-law Sonnia Wielosinski, Colleen Wielosinski, Delores Temes (Samantha Dean Hall), brother-in-law Louis (Linda) Aloia, and loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. David was preceded in death by his loving parents Edward and LaVerne Wielosinski and brothers Glenn Wielosinski and Michael Wielosinski and sister-in-law Marie Conidi.
Funeral services for David will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2020, at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Road, Lansing, Illinois. Services will begin at 4:00 PM with Father Ed Cronin officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 1:00 PM until time of service. Due to the COVID 19 pandemic and current situation, we ask you to please wear a mask while visiting and follow the state requirement of six feet social distancing.
David was a proud Veteran of The United States Navy; he retired from US Army Corps of Engineers after many years of service. Dave loved his family, they always came first. He loved playing golf and going out to watch sports with his buddies. He loved spending time with his wife cruising and traveling. He was very proud of his daughter Jessica on owning her own pizza place and helping pitch in when needed. Dave loved going to White Sox games with his daughter Marie and he absolutely adored his granddaughter Emma. He would help anyone or do anything for people in need. He had a heart of gold and he was loved by many and he will be truly missed.
