David John Predl, age 67 of Lansing, IL, passed away on Monday, March 18, 2024. Dave was born on December 9, 1956 in Chicago, IL to Richard J. and Peggy L. (nee Johnson) Predl. Dave is survived by his beloved wife, Janice B. (nee Schiller), whom he married on July 2, 1992. Also surviving is his brother: Richard (Susan) Predl and sisters: Jennifer (Richard) Walstra and Suzanne (George) Cook, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Dave was preceded in death by his parents.

In 1975, Dave graduated from Thornridge High School in Dolton, IL, and in 1977 he received an Associate's Degree in Arts from Thornton Community College. In 1977, he worked as a shop foreman at Muench Millworks Company in South Chicago Heights, IL. Later he owned and operated Predl Woodworks in Dolton, IL, creating custom woodwork since 1980. In his spare time, Dave enjoyed fishing and restoring a 1950 GMC pickup truck.

Friends are invited to visit with Dave's family on Sunday, April 28 from 1:00 – 5:00 PM at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Rd., Lansing, IL.
