David Malish, age 65, of Lansing, IL, passed away unexpectedly on July 22, 2026.

He was preceded in death by his parents Walter and Sophie Malish.

David is survived by his loving brother Ronald Malish and was loyal to many.

He retired from Franciscan Health Hospitals after many years of faithful service. David enjoyed creative writing and journaling his life experience.  He was an avid gardener and took care of his impressive garden. David will be greatly missed by all who loved him.

Visitation will be Saturday, August 15, 2026 from 10:00 am until the time of his memorial service at 12:00 noon at Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home (3227 Ridge Rd.; Lansing, IL 60438) with Deacon Jim Renwick officiating.
