David Holleman, age 66 of Lansing, Illinois passed away suddenly on Tuesday, April 8, 2025. David is survived by his loving mother Gertrude (late William) (nee Kooy) Holleman, Loving sister Kathy (late Steve) Woodnorth,and devoted and loving nephew Michael Woodnorth and many cherished and devoted friends. David was preceded in death by his father William Holleman and cherished niece Ashley McMahon. David never met a stranger, he always gave a helping hand and always had a friendly smile. He was loved by many and he will be forever missed..

David loved history and loved to read. He was a Veteran of the United States Army where he proudly served his country. David had a loving, kind and caring soul. He enjoyed being around his family and friends.

Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, April 17, 2025 at Oak Glen United Reformed Church, 2244 Indiana Ave., Lansing, Illinois beginning at 10:00 AM until 12 noon with services immediately following, with Rev. Ed Marcusse officiating. David will be laid to rest at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Lansing, Illinois. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in David's name to Mid-America Reformed Seminary and or The National Right To Life Committee.
