David M. Cunningham, age 70 of Lansing, IL, passed away on Saturday, July 5, 2025. He is survived by his best friend, the love of his life, his Gal Pal, Sweetie Pie, and loving wife of 37 years, Madeline (nee Panozzo) and his loving daughter: Lynn Marie. Also surviving is his brother: Glen F. (Jonalyn) Cunningham, and sister-in-law: Roberta (wife of his late brother Robert); brother and sister-in-laws: Bob (Marge) Panozzo, Glen (Darla) Panozzo, Sharon (Roger) Medlen, and Carol (Mike) Klekot; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

David was preceded in death by his parents: Edward and Josefa Cunningham, brother: Robert E. Cunningham, and mother-in-law: Dorothy Panozzo

Visitation and funeral services for David will be held on Thursday, July 17, 2025 at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2505 Indiana Ave., Lansing, IL. Visitation is from 9:30 AM – 11:00 AM with the service. David will be laid to rest in Oak Glen Cemetery in Lansing. In lieu flowers, please make memorial donations in David's name to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association.

David received a Bachelor's Degree in Science from Purdue University in 1986. He worked as a medical underwriter for many years. He loved the great outdoors, camping, and especially loved to fish. He was a loving husband, beloved father, brother, and uncle and will be dearly missed.
