Daniel "Dan" R. Sealy age 69 of Lynwood, Illinois, formerly of Lansing, IL passed away November 25, 2021. Dan is Preceded in death by his loving parents John and Regina (McGinley) Sealy. His sisters Jean Vianello, Bea Nothof, and Margaret Sealy. Dan is survived by his loving children, sons Justin Sealy (Jessica Arens) of Highland, IN, Daniel JR (Kasey) Sealy of Fishers, IN, Michael Sealy of Chicago, IL and daughter Natalie (Bill) Walzak of Lowell, IN. Also surviving Dan are his 6 grandchildren Andrew Vanderhei, Sydney Sealy, Evan and Cole Walzak, and Paige and Cooper Sealy, along with his sisters Letty and Irene, and brothers John, Jim, and Ed.

A Celebration Of Life for Dan will be held on Thursday, December 9, 2021 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM, at the Schroeder Lauer Funeral, 3227 Ridge Road, Lansing, IL. A memorial service for Dan will begin at 6:30 PM in the chapel, with Deacon Jim Renwick officiating.

Daniel grew up in Roseland, IL. He graduated from Fenger High School in 1970. He worked on the Railroad (CWI) until 1984. Dan then started working for the Lansing Public Works, where he worked for over 12 years. He was an organ recipient on July 13, 1998 and was able to continue living, seeing his children become parents themselves. On May 15, 2009, Dan received another liver and Kidney transplant. Dan loved nothing more than watching his kids or grand kids play sports. His smile was his biggest when he was around the basketball court or baseball field cheering on his kids and grandchildren. Dan loved hard rock and Roll and he will be forever remembered by his witty jokes and unconditional love.
