Chris Karrson, age 77 of Lansing, IL, formerly of Riverdale, IL, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 28, 2025. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Vicky (Panozzo) Karrson and his children Steffani Karrson, Jennifer (Gil Grimes) Karrson, and Derek (Nikki Gonzales) Karrson; grandchildren Sarah, Adam, and Samantha; brothers Wayne (Sue) Karrson and Ken Karrson; brothers-in-law Gary (Jane) Panozzo and Mark (Deb) Panozzo; former daughter-in-law Nicole Karrson; and many nieces and nephews.

Chris retired from the Chicago Tribune, where he worked as a circulation driver. He served in the Navy on the U.S.S. Yorktown followed by the U.S.S. Saratoga from 1967 - 1970. At Chris' request, his body will be donated to the Anatomical Gift Association of Illinois. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in the family's name to the Anatomical Gift Association of Illinois. Chris was loved by many and he will be truly missed.
