Chester M. Novak, age 63 of Watson, Illinois, formerly of Lynwood, Illinois passed away Thursday, April 22, 2021. He is survived by his loving son Noah Novak, father Chester Novak and loving sister Susan Zondor. Chester was preceded in death by his loving mother Dolores (nee Mika) Novak.

Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, May 1, 2021 from 9:00 am to 10:15 AM at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Road, Lansing, Illinois. Closing prayers will begin at 10:15 AM at the funeral home then proceed to St. Ann Catholic Church, 3010 Ridge Road, Lansing, Illinois for a 10:30 AM Mass of Christian Burial with Father Mark Kalema officiating. Chester will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, Calumet City, Illinois.

Chester enjoyed being with family and friends. He loved all sports at an early age. That fueled his passion to becoming a Sports Broadcaster in Southern Illinois for years. He had a love for writing and he wrote many compositions. Chester enjoyed life and the outdoors. In his younger years he self taught himself the bass guitar and was the founder of the band "No Klass." he was fluent in German and he enjoyed riding motorcycles. Chester knew many friends and will be truly missed. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Chester's name to Catholic Charities or the American Red Cross.
