Cheryl S. Hampton (nee Wooley) age 71, of Lansing, Illinois passed away peacefully Wednesday, September 2, 2020. Cheryl is survived by her sons; Jason (Carshon) Hampton and Don Hampton. Loving sister of R. Donald (Kathy) Wooley, Daniel (Diane) Wooley, and Becky (Robert) Golat. Cheryl was preceded in death by her loving parents Ralph and Patricia (nee Mayhall) Wooley, two nephews and two nieces, and former husband Michael Hampton. A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, September 11, 2020 at 10:00 AM at St. Ann Catholic Church, 3010 Ridge Road. Lansing, Illinois with Father Mark Kalema officiating.

Cheryl was a loving and caring wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. Over the years she was a bookkeeper, teacher, and later on in life a loving caregiver. She truly had a beautiful heart. She truly was a dog lover and enjoyed her dogs. In Lieu of flowers memorial donation may be made in Cheryl's name to the Humane Indiana, 421 45th Street, Munster, Indiana 46321. Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home has been entrusted with Cheryl's care.
