Carol A. Keane, age 85, of Tinley Park, IL, formerly of Surprise, AZ, passed away peacefully on October 14, 2026. Carol is the loving wife to the late Joseph Keane; beloved mother to Bret (Tracy) Nichols and the late Beth Nichols; proud grandmother to Erin Nichols; great-grandmother to 4; cherished sister to Norman (Lynn) Horvat; aunt to many; loving friend to Pat, Sharon and Judy.

Carol and her late husband Joe, loved to golf and host Super Bowl parties, as well as "date night" with dinners and movies. She loved shopping and having lunch with the ladies. Watching cowboy shows on Turner Classic Movies was the highlight of her day. Coming over to have dinner with her son and daughter-in-law (and of course seeing the cats), always put a smile on her face.

Visitation for Carol will be held on Saturday, October 17 from 9:30 AM to the time of service at 12:30 PM at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Rd., Lansing, IL. Carol will be laid to rest near her daughter, Beth, in Oak Glen Cemetery in Lansing, IL.
