Carlton A. Dorris age 65 of Lansing, Illinois better known as "Herby" passed away Thursday, November 28, 2024. Herby was preceded in death by his parents Raymond L. Dorris and Patricia B. Dorris. He is survived by one son, Robert C. Dorris, two sisters, Linda (John) Hibbs and Tricia Alexander, three grandchildren, Qwen, Emily and Jack Dorris. Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Herby was a lifelong resident of Lansing, Illinois and a former employee for the Village of Lansing-Public Works.

A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, January 11, 2025. Friends may visit with the family from 1:00 to 4:00 PM at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Road, Lansing, Illinois. Interment will be private. www.schroederlauer.com
