Bonnilee D. Salinas (nee Dubay), age 79 of St. John, IN, passed away on Monday, May 25, 2026. She is survived by her beloved husband of 45 years, Arturo Salinas; four children: Tom Price, Michelle Price, Wendy (Andy) Hammonds, and Arthur Salinas; two grandchildren: Cody and Sonny Hammonds; brother, Kevin Dubay and sister, Julie (Roy) Ochs. Bonnilee was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Esther Dubay.

Friends are invited to visit with Bonnilee's family on Sunday, May 31 from 3:00 – 8:00 PM at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Rd., Lansing, IL. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, June 1, 2026 in the funeral home chapel. Bonnilee will be laid to rest in Holy Cross Cemetery in Calumet City, IL.

Bonnilee was a bus driver for Lake Central High School in St. John, Indiana. She enjoyed music, especially Led Zeppelin, gardening and planting flowers. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother, and she was the best Grandma to her grandchildren.
