Beverly Jean McGilvrey (nee Grcevich), age 74, of Lansing, Illinois passed away on Monday, March 4, 2024. She is survived by her two loving children, Anthony (Aubree Wermelinger) and Stephanie. She was a cherished grandmother to Jena and Bailey. Beverly is also survived by her sister, Elaine (Edmund) Galvin, and her dear friend Sally Smith. She was a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. Beverly was preceded in death by her father Andrew, her mother Marie, and her sister Lorraine.

While raising her children, Beverly pursued ​her degree in nursing, and was a devoted registered nurse in Labor and Delivery at Community Hospital for 18 years. After retirement, she enjoyed spending time with friends, family, and especially her granddaughters. She resided at St. Anthony's in Lansing where she enjoyed playing bingo and helping the staff organize their many activities. Beverly will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Friends may visit with the family at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Road, Lansing, Illinois on Friday, March 22, 2024 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM, with a memorial service immediatly following with Deacon Jim Renwick officiating.
