It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Betty Carol Raynor, the matriarch of our family. She left this world in the early morning of July 3, 2022 at age 84. Betty lived a beautiful, dignified life with her husband Raymond Raynor. Together, they had five children: Betty Carol Raynor, Marcus Raynor, Cathleen Carter, Randall Raynor and Gregory Raynor. In time, the family would grow to include six grandchildren: Stephanie Berk, Amanda Gunty, Lauren Linos, Joshua Raynor, Ashley Raynor, Sydney Raynor, and Jack Raynor; followed by six great grandchildren: Aevry Gunty, Mackenzie Berk, Sawyer Gunty, Quinn Berk, Fiona Linos, and second baby Linos on the way. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Raymond Raynor; her beautiful baby daughter, Betty Carol; her adored sister, Doris Hyrn; and her loving parents, Ernest and Syrena Koch.

To love and honor Betty is to cherish the simple things in life: soft pajamas, anything chocolate, and quiet evenings with a glass of wine in hand. She will be greatly missed, but forever in our hearts.

Visitation with the family will be held on Friday, July 8, 2022, from 10:00-12:00 p.m., with services immediately following at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home located at 3227 Ridge Road, Lansing, Illinois. Betty will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Calumet City, Illinois.
