Barbara English (Leverenz) age 64, of Lansing, Illinois passed away peacefully at home on Friday, October 18, 2019. She is survived by her beloved husband Jeffery English. Loving mother of Brian (Marie) English and Amy (Matt) Nommensen. Cherished grandmother of Hailey Nommensen and Emma English. Also surviving are loving sister Diane Fenolio and Richard (Dee) Leverenz, loving aunt to many nieces and nephews and special loving friends Eileen Papas and Kathy Mills. Barbara was preceded in death by her loving parents Paul and Doris Leverenz and brother-in-law Chuck Fenolio.

Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Road, Lansing, Illinois from 2:00 to 5:30 PM with a short prayer service beginning at 5:30 PM. Interment private.

Barbara was an Avid crafter, and her talent showed in everything she did. She loved spending time with her family , especially her two beautiful granddaughters. Barbara will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her. Memorial donations may be made in Barbara's name to the Hospice of the Calumet Area.
