Ashley McMahon was born on July 3, 1985 in Munster, IN and went home to be with her Lord and Savior on March 23, 2023 in Crown Point, IN.  Ashley is survived by her loving mother, Kathleen Woodnorth, brother, Michael Woodnorth and grandmother, Gertrude Holleman.  Also many beloved aunts, uncles and cousins. Ashley was preceded in death by her loving father, Stephen Woodnorth and grandfather William A. Holleman.

Ashley had a career background in the medical field.  She enjoyed music, movies, figure skating, and painting.  She loved spending time with her friends and family as well as her cats.  She was the sweetest and kindest person anyone knew.  She was loved by many and will be truly missed.

A memorial Celebration of Life for Ashley will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at Bethel Christian Reformed Church, 3500 Glenwood-Lansing Road, Lansing, Illinois from 10:00 am to 12 noon with services immediately following with Pastor Dan Bloesch officiating. Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home has been entrusted with Ashley's arrangements and care.
