Arthur M Cain, Age 86 of Lansing, Formerly of Harrington, ME, passed away peacefully at home, October 5, 2024, surrounded by his daughters and granddaughter. Arthur his survived by his children: Tammy Davis, Bo (Suellen) Cain, Holly (late Joseph) Miller, and Robert Cain. Grandchildren: Matthew (Elizabeth) Cain, Brandon (Feliciana) Cain, Cera (Adam Boland) Cain, Alexis (Michael) Luff, Brittany (Adrian Zentz) Mosca, Brandy (Nathan Gardner) Grant. Great Grandchildren: Joshua, Jacob and Lucilia Zentz, Matthew C. Cain, Everleigh and Benjamin Gardner and his best grand pup Mason. Arthur is also survived by his precious mother-in-law, Vera Schmidt and his former wife and friend Phyllis Cain. Arthur was preceded in death by his late wife, of 34 years, Rita, his Mother Bernice Cain, his Aunt Augusta Scott, and Son-in-Law Joseph Miller.

Friends are invited to visit with Arthur's family on Thursday, October 10, 2024 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Schroeder Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Road, Lansing, Illinois. Arthur's funeral service will begin at 10:00 AM, Friday, October 11 DIRECTLY at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, 18100 Wentworth Ave. Lansing, Illinois with Pastor John Richy officiating. Arthur will be laid to rest at Oak Glen Lutheran Cemetery, Lansing, Illinois.

Arthur was a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving in the Korean War. He enjoyed serving many years with The American Legion post #697 in Lansing, being Commander for three years and the 8th District Historian. Arthur was loved by many and he will be truly missed. www.schroederlauer.com
