Arlene Schultz, 89 of Calumet City, Illinois passed away peacefully at home. She is survived by her loving husband Dan of 66 years of beloved marriage, and her children; Debbie Plevo, Danette (Bob) Gabe, Dave (Kelly) Schultz, Darla Schultz, Darcie (Dan) Gresham. She had 12 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and many friends whom she dearly loved. Arlene was preceded in death by her parents Cora, Clarence, Dorthy Stahley, and her daughter Dalene Schultz.

Arlene loved sewing, bird watching, flower gardening, camping, and most of all having a good water and shaving cream fight. We Thank You, GOD, for BLESSING us with Arlene for 89 years of love, companionship, friendship of Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother.

Friends may help celebrate Arlene's life with the family on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Road, Lansing, Illinois from 4 – 6 pm. with a Celebration of Life service immediately following at 6 pm in the funeral home chapel with Associate Pastor Charles Kirkland from Regeneration Church, Hammond, Indiana, officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Arlene's name to Shiloh Hospice and Palliative Care or Catholic Charities would be appreciated. Arlene was loved by many and will be truly missed. www.schroederlauer.com
