Anita Esteviz (nee Armas), age 92 of Lansing, IL, passed away on Tuesday, August 26, 2025. She is the loving mother of and survived by Raymond (Jeanette) Esteviz, Gloria Toy, and Daniel (Laura De La Pena) Esteviz; beloved grandmother of Tillman Daniel (Amy Shutt) Toy Jr., Jessica Ann Ressler, Tameca Nichol Toy, and Michael Philip Esteviz; and devoted great grandmother of Austin James Ressler and Dylan Jacob Ressler, Sydney Rae Toy and Elijah Daniel Toy. Anita was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Samuel, in December 2020, parents Felipe and Seferina Armas, two brothers and two sisters.

Friends are invited to visit with Anita's family on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 from 9:00 – 11:00 AM at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Rd., Lansing, IL. Her funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 AM with Pastor Michael Eberly officiating. Anita will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband in Oak Hill Cemetery in Blue Island, IL.

Anita was a member of Cornerstone Church in Lansing. She had worked in newspaper advertising. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and will missed. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Anita's name to Cornerstone Church, 3440 178th St., Lansing, IL 60438. One of Anita's favorite hymns was " What a Friend we have in Jesus ".
