Alice Carol Mann (nee Green), (known by her loving family as Pinky), age 81 of Columbus, OH, formerly of Crestwood, IL, South Holland, IL and Tinley Park, IL, passed away on Friday, January 16, 2026. Alice is survived by her loving son, Jeffrey A. Mann, grandson, Alex Mann, and daughter-in-law, Sheri Turvey. Also surviving is her sister, Gail Green Braze (Richard) and brother, Michael Green (Hope), and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Alice was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edward C. Mann; son, Edward S. Mann, and parents: Henry and Marjorie Green.

Visitation with family followed by a prayer service for Alice will be held at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Rd., Lansing, IL on Friday, January 23 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 Noon. The prayer service will be held at noon in the funeral home chapel with Fr. Bill McFarlane officiating. Burial will be private.

Alice retired from United Airlines, where she loved her job. She also owned Sunbound Travel Agency in Lansing several years ago. She always had a passion for travel. She also had a great passion and love for hockey, an avid Blackhawks fan, and more recently was following the Chicago Bears. Alice graduated from St. Peter and Paul High School in South Chicago.

Alice was loved by many and will be truly missed by family and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to Saint Jude.
